special day

17/7/2009... another date to remember. What is so special about it? It was my graduation ceremony day.

I just looked at all the pix taken & I know I must write this entry right away b4 the feeling fade away. When I looked at those pix, especially when the ceremony took place.... it's really hard to describe my feeling. The feeling is not the same like when u receive ur degree or master. One word that I could think of is proud. Yes, I really proud of what I've achieved :). It's been a long journey & not easy. And now, I am sooooooooooo happy!!

Even though syawal hasn't finished his correction yet, both me & syawal wore the robe. So we had our family pix taken at the studio plus other pix that cost us about 150 pnd, huuhuhhuhu. Once in a lifetime, hehheheheheh. The ceremony was simple yet very sweet. I was the 1st recipient for the PhD award & u couldn't imagine how nervous was I b'cos it wasn't like u walk to the chancellor & he'll give you the scroll. I was really afraid if I do mistake, hehehhe. Here in UK, for PhD award, the chancellor will put the hood on you. For that you have to bent down. B4 that, you must put the folded hood on ur right hand. When the head of scholl announce ur name, u've to hand the hood to the special marshall beside u. He will then walk with you to the chancellor. After putting on the hood, the chancellor will hold ur hand & say something that I barely could remember what he said. The only thing that I remember is "U must be very relieved". indeed I am.

Anyway, syawal & syafique were there inside the hall but syra had to wait outside. I can only bring 2 guest with me. Besides, they have age restriction & syra definitely cannot get in. Syafique was very handsome yesterday & he actually was very excited too. He wanted to wear his scoat (bought at CBS at 20pence!!) since morning. Not even that, he asked for a tie!!. What a dear boy. syra is like always...sleeping,crying & hungry!!!. Ooooo... I just remmeber, she poo poo & I had to change her while wearing my robe. Normally she poo poo at noon but yesterday she decided to hold it until her mom wearing the robe, hikhikhik. What a 'naughty' girl.

Suddenly I have no idea what to write *sigh*. I just want to say... I am one happy lady, surrounded by all the ppl that I love. To friends who came yesterday.. thanks for coming & it make me happier even more.

I will try to upload the pix to my FB ASAP and put some of them here. I know my family back in Msia are also anxious to look at my graduation pix :).

Confirmed!!!

my place has been confirmed & really looking forward for the day. not for the ceremony but for the camwhoring session, hikhikhik. I'll make sure hundrredsss of pix will be taken that day. So frens.... pls come & make the day more happening!!!!.

And another important thing to think is what to wear? hmmmmm........Well, given all the circumstances, I've decided to wear anything in my wardrobe. That anything only applies to 'baju kurung' of course :).What really matter is I must look good in the pix, hehehe. typical me. As for the heel shoes, since I've packed them all, I need to buy a new pair. Thnx to CBS, @ below 10pnd, I managed to buy 3 pairs of branded shoes & will wear only one of them. Honestly, I already lost count how many shoes have I boughht (BN or bought in CBS) since I came 3 yrs ago. Hope ,my craziness of buying shoes will be reduced in m'sia.

ok....now let's just wait 4 the day

Little Master or Little Missy??

Well....InsyaAllah it will be a little missy *BigGrin*. When I asked the sonographer about the genital, she was so confident when she told us about it. Now I can start shopping for my little missy. But before that, I need to buy maternity clothes for myself first. Seems like I need to start wearing them anytime soon :)

*** Update on 11/12/08: We had another ultrasound a week after the last one. We asked about the genital again & we got the same answer :). The ultrasound was carried out by a different sonographer

Our 8th Wedding Anniversary

(Picture from Google Image search)

Today, 4th November 8 years ago, syawal & me were married... & Alhamdulillah, we are still together, more meaningful with our beloved son Syafique Azraei and another SA is on the way, InsyaAllah.

Honestly, I am very grateful that I met with syawal. I know I wouldn't find the best man as best as syawal ( in comparison with my 'adik'). Until today I still feel the same. He knew that I accepted him in the first place because he was the first one who wanted to get serious with me. I didn't take so long to decide whether to accept him or him, even though I didn't tell him that when he proposed to me. Well nothing interesting about how we met because we were classmate since I stepped my feet at UPM in 1993. I first saw him on our registration day & it happened that out student number wasn't that far so we ended up in the same class, same tutorial group & even lab session. For about two yrs we're merely a normal friend, no feeling at all. Being me who never controlled myself infront of men ( no wonder no men like me, huhuhu), I could say anything to him. I even gave him a nick name... Syawal the moon's son, hehehe. It was when we started our degree, everything changed & it happened within few months. He likes me...hohohohoh. It was him who started first!!! But when I think again.... hmm, he must be really like me b'cause he wanted me the way I was at that time. I was really not pretty back then. Well, maybe my natural beauty was there (feel free to puke) but my dressing??? Terrible.. I told you, really terrible.

After we officially coupled, things went as usual. He was a very good boyfriend, really good. I was the one who corrupted his mind with not-so-good things, heheheheh. About 2 yrs after we graduated, we decided it was the time to tie the knot. I still remember the solemnization event very well. Pretty embarassing....or I think very embarassing. I hate to remember that day.

Well... basically that is all about me & syawal. Well, for this yr anniversary no special celebration, no gift exchange, just some sort of special lunch at Thai's restaurant yesterday. Besides, syawal has course in Oxfordshire today until Friday and I am pretty busy at the moment. In fact I have to find time to write this special entry.

I pray that our marriage will be forever and ever. To syawal.... I am so lucky to have you in my life & will love you more and more. Happy Anniversary Abang....
