ini lah....

Presenting my 'bidan terjun' effort....... the program book & the cd proceeding of SCOReD 2009. Cantikkan? hehheheh.

balik2 lapor diri trus di ajak join as committee. I thought just tolong2 orang. I was totally wrong!!! end up from A to Z aku buat. Mmmg tergagau2 aku cari info. Nk memaham kan satu hal, nk membuat another different thing. orang yg sepatutnya aku tolong trus ilang ntah di mana. Dia pun ada another commitment.. no hal lah bro, hehhehe. dah siap bolehlah ckp no hal. masa tgh stress nk menyiapkan tu, adalah angin sket2. tapi typical me... klu angin pun angin sorang2.

anyway, hasilnya... dr segi luaran, oklah. tapi dalam tu banyak gak typo/ grammatical error. nk buat camno, aku buat2 tak ada saper yg edit. klu adapun sket2 or masa tu dh antar for printing. yg cd tu plak, lagilah aku bangga. bila aku tgk cd2 proc. conf2 lain, aku tgk ada autorun function. aku pun nk buat camtulah. jenuh duk google sana, google sini, tanya orang tu, tanya orang ni... akhirnya aku berjaya buat jugak. again, sorang2. Seriously, aku rasa pengalaman buat phd teach me on setiap benda pasti ada penyelesaiannya. kita kena usaha aje.

Lps2 ni klu nk suruh aku buat 2 benda ni. mmg kacang lah, hehehh. In fact, will be improved punya sbb aku dh tau camner nk buat dgn cara yg lbh efficient. Less error of course.

oklah, nk buat entry pasal lain plak. aku tgh mood M.A.L.A.S nak buat keje.

After 2 months and 20 days

.... we're almost settled down & getting busy and busier everyday, huhuhu. But I love our new life here.

Once in a while I do miss UK tho'. I miss my strolled from the house to the office, feasting my eyes with the same surrounding every day & never got bored of it. after 3 yrs of walking thru the same route, I knew my SV's fav parking spot, hehheh. What else did I miss?? Oh yes, I miss our family-bonding session which is seating on our big sofe & watching TV. I don't know why but it is so difficult to watch TV here. We normally reach home about 5pm. Upon arriving, I make sure all our stuff (MyP's skool bag, his uniform, MyCC's nursery bag, etc, etc) are looking good as I don't want my MIL unhappy if she looks her house in messy condition. I am so bz at night, preparing stuff for the next morning & by the time I finish, I can hardly open my eyes, huhuhu. Syafique too, by 9pm, he already very sleepy & he has to wake up at 6.15am. About watching TV together, the funny thing was, the day I thought about not watching TV for so long, in that very same day, MyP asked MyD whe we haven't watch TV together like we always do when we're in UK. MyD answer was wait until we move into our own house soon, InsyaAllah.

About our BM renovation. I think it's progressing well. It started end of last month & the last time we went there, the workers already knocked down the walls. The walls for the wet kitchen & the guest room are already up even earlier. the 'not-so' major works are in the back area & then, they need to do some work on the porch area. After that, just 'make up' process & we can move in. However, at the moment we're quite bz on deciding/designing everything and time is always the problem as me & MyD bz with the work stuff. even though, my class hasn't started yet but I'll be assisting a conf. organized by my dept which will be next month. I'm in charge on the program book & the proc. They haven't started anything yet when I came & seems like they're now my responsibility, huhuhuhu. Well. at least I have things to do. If not...I don't know what to do except browsing the net, hahahhah.

since coming back from UK, the most noticeable difference between UK and M'sia is we're really exhausted here. It's really hard to feel relax and calm. Everyday, weekdays and weekend we always have something to do. another reason why I don't have much time to watch TV anymore. In UK, our life is only to office. On weekend to CBS. Once in a while there maybe xtvities, like during raya. We also could go for family holidays at least 4 times a yr. But now.. I am too tired to plan for a holiday, huhuhuhu.

this weekend will ber another tiring weekend. We have few invites already & I don't know if we can go to all of them. MyD has function with KCD frens on Sat & I'll not be not joining him. I know it's gonna be a boring function, at least for me.

special day

17/7/2009... another date to remember. What is so special about it? It was my graduation ceremony day.

I just looked at all the pix taken & I know I must write this entry right away b4 the feeling fade away. When I looked at those pix, especially when the ceremony took place.... it's really hard to describe my feeling. The feeling is not the same like when u receive ur degree or master. One word that I could think of is proud. Yes, I really proud of what I've achieved :). It's been a long journey & not easy. And now, I am sooooooooooo happy!!

Even though syawal hasn't finished his correction yet, both me & syawal wore the robe. So we had our family pix taken at the studio plus other pix that cost us about 150 pnd, huuhuhhuhu. Once in a lifetime, hehheheheheh. The ceremony was simple yet very sweet. I was the 1st recipient for the PhD award & u couldn't imagine how nervous was I b'cos it wasn't like u walk to the chancellor & he'll give you the scroll. I was really afraid if I do mistake, hehehhe. Here in UK, for PhD award, the chancellor will put the hood on you. For that you have to bent down. B4 that, you must put the folded hood on ur right hand. When the head of scholl announce ur name, u've to hand the hood to the special marshall beside u. He will then walk with you to the chancellor. After putting on the hood, the chancellor will hold ur hand & say something that I barely could remember what he said. The only thing that I remember is "U must be very relieved". indeed I am.

Anyway, syawal & syafique were there inside the hall but syra had to wait outside. I can only bring 2 guest with me. Besides, they have age restriction & syra definitely cannot get in. Syafique was very handsome yesterday & he actually was very excited too. He wanted to wear his scoat (bought at CBS at 20pence!!) since morning. Not even that, he asked for a tie!!. What a dear boy. syra is like always...sleeping,crying & hungry!!!. Ooooo... I just remmeber, she poo poo & I had to change her while wearing my robe. Normally she poo poo at noon but yesterday she decided to hold it until her mom wearing the robe, hikhikhik. What a 'naughty' girl.

Suddenly I have no idea what to write *sigh*. I just want to say... I am one happy lady, surrounded by all the ppl that I love. To friends who came yesterday.. thanks for coming & it make me happier even more.

I will try to upload the pix to my FB ASAP and put some of them here. I know my family back in Msia are also anxious to look at my graduation pix :).

July 05, 2009

Confirmed!!!

my place has been confirmed & really looking forward for the day. not for the ceremony but for the camwhoring session, hikhikhik. I'll make sure hundrredsss of pix will be taken that day. So frens.... pls come & make the day more happening!!!!.

And another important thing to think is what to wear? hmmmmm........Well, given all the circumstances, I've decided to wear anything in my wardrobe. That anything only applies to 'baju kurung' of course :).What really matter is I must look good in the pix, hehehe. typical me. As for the heel shoes, since I've packed them all, I need to buy a new pair. Thnx to CBS, @ below 10pnd, I managed to buy 3 pairs of branded shoes & will wear only one of them. Honestly, I already lost count how many shoes have I boughht (BN or bought in CBS) since I came 3 yrs ago. Hope ,my craziness of buying shoes will be reduced in m'sia.

ok....now let's just wait 4 the day

A gift from me to myself

Pass my PhD viva is one of the important things happened in my life. Anyway, I told myself I should give reward to myself. And when it is a reward, it must be something different/expensive, something that I always wanted but couldn't afford it. Since I passed, I decided to buy something that I've been eyeing for so long. Co-incidently I got some money (handsome amount) from the gov few wks ago so nothing can stop from buying it :) even though just with syawal's 3/4 approval. My one & only excuse... a present for myself for my success.

yesterday, we went to Oxford to collect an item that syawal just bought from ebay & since we're in that area, Bicester village is a must to go. This is what I got for myself...TOD's loafer at £***.**. The 2nd expensive stuff that I bought after this one

*** I am happy....***
p/s1: I just bought a TOD's large bag, from ebay, to match with the loafers. Haven't told syawal yet. scared!!! But I already have answers if he questions me, which I definitely sure he will, huhuhuh.

p/s2: Syawal promised to give me special present for my success too. Something that I've been dreaming for so long. Of course much more expensive that what I bought. I hope he won't change his mind. Need to go to Harrods ASAP...huhuhuhu.

Friday, 15/05/2009...

**** This will be another super lengthy entry. ****
**** I should make this entry earlier but been so bz with the baby & other stuff. ****

The date will be one of the other dates that I won't forget in my entire life. Why??? Because that is the date I had my final viva.... the viva to get my Doctorate :). What make it even more important to remember... I just gave birth to Syra Arisha 9 days earlier. Not just that... my parents were here on this important day & I was so happy to share this happiness with them :).

First let see the milestones since I started my PhD:

23/3/2006: Started my PhD at ECS, Uni. of Southampton
Dec'06: Submitted my 9 months report
1/2/2007: I passed my 9 months viva (10 am, Room 8027, Faraday)
Dec'07: Submitted my 18 months report
18/1/2008: I passed my transfer viva (10am, Room 3241, Zepler)
Oct'08: Started writing for my final thesis + ongoing analysis.
Dec'08: My sv said my work is enough & I can concentrate on the report. Gave him the firts few chapters of the final thesis.
Jan-Mac'09: FInishing my writing
13/3/2009: Submit my thesis to the school office
24/3/2009: The date of the viva is confirmed.
15/5/2009: I passed my final viva. (10.30am, Room 2025, Bldg 1)

Now is the time to write about the experience during the viva. It will definitely something sweet to remember...

Here it goes..... I arrived at the viva room at 10 am. Syawal was with me & helped me to set up my notebook. then he left & my feeling that time...NERVOUS!!!. I tried to calm myself by just looking outside. Sharp at 10.30 am, the 2 examiners and my sv came into the room. The moment everybody was settled down, the session began w/out any delay, huhuhu. The internal examiner, also as the chair of the viva gave a short opening. The external asked me about my b/ground. Then I started my short presentation. Just a brief overview on my work.

The viva was mostly on my thesis. The examiners (esp. the ext) went page by page. The ext even have his list of questions, neatly typed & had 9 pages of them, huhhuhuhu. The questions came non-stop like I've been shot from a machine gun & it was really exhausting. But... believe it or not I enjoyed it very much. maybe because I think I can answer most of the questions & for those Q that I didn't really know/sure, I just told them & they're fine with that. The only one time that I felt so low when the ext asked about my work. Seriously I never expect he would ask that Q. I honestly didn't see it coming at all. What I could say is he is so detail in reading the thesis. Anyway, I couldn't really answer the Q but nothing bad happened. he just said I need to explain further in my thesis. As for my internal examiner, he didn't ask much & as far as I could remember, I could answer all his Qs.

The viva ended exactly at 1pm. They then asked me to leave the room. The ext also took a short break went to the gents with my SV. So, I just waited outside. Luckily there are chairs on the corridor. While waiting for the verdict, I met Prof. Ni**on. He was getting into him room & it happened that I sat infront of his room. Looking at my appearance, he definitely knew that I just had my viva and asked me how was I doing?? He seems like a nice guy. Anyway, why is it so important to mention his name in this entry? Well, it's b'cos I heard not so nice things about him. I have 2 m'sian frens that doing Phd with him & the end was not so good.

Pa*l was then called me back into the room. I tried to find some clue from his face but nothing, neither happy nor upset, huhuhuh. I knew I'll pass it's just that pass with what condition? either no correction, minor, modest or major corrections. I was hoping for either minor or modest. The diff between these two is the duration to make the correction which is 1 mnth and 6 mnths respectively. So, my rslt was PASS with modest correction. Yes... I felt so relieved but deep in my heart I was little bit frustrated. I think I deserved minor corection, based on my performance. However, on second thought 6 mnths is better with my current condition. At least i don't have to rush to finish the correction. Anyway, after almost a mnth, the corrections are done & need to give them to both examiners for approval. I hope they'll approve it w/out requiring for any more changes.

Last but not least...I feel so grateful & relieved. I never expect that I could finish my PhD in 3 yrs. I see this as blessing in disguise & also, everything happens for a reason. Why I said this??? Wait for another entry. There's a long story behind this & I really want to share it with everyone. Also, there will be another entry for tips of doing phd, from my view of course.

Federer was attacked...

.... by a crazy barcelona fan!!!!.

I guess that crazy man must be Nadal's big fan, huhuhuhuhuhu. The incident looked funny but I think Roland Garros should increase their security. That man was able to touch Federer OK!! by rubbing Fede's head with a flag & it took quite sometimes until the security put him down, huhuhuhu. Luckily he didn't do anything dangerous to my federer. I couldn't imagine if he harm federer like what happened to Monica Selles few yrs ago when Steffi Graff's fan stabbed Monica's back.

Anyway, I am so happy he won the French open. this is the second time I saw him crying. The first time was when he won Wimbledon 2 yrs ago. Can't wait for the Wimbledon tournament in about 3 wks time, hohohoo.

Let's shopppppp

First of all, I actually have loads of pixs to share but at the moment I am totally lazy to upload them here, especially from my camera phone. The main reason maybe b'cause I blog in a very uncomfortable condition. Yup....since last month, I've to set up the notebook in the bedroom & have to work on the bed. Very uncomfortable. So...at the moment please enjoy my picture'less entry :).

Anyway... back to the title of this entry, shopping mopping. it's time for me & syawal to think what to buy before going back home in July. Yup... we are 100% positive that we're going back this July. Why??? because our visa will be expired that month. However b4 going back, I (our) wish... to attend the graduation ceremony. Hope everything goes well.. my & syawal's viva. the only problem now is syawal's sv. Syawal is still waiting for his sv to return his last 2 chapters. Until that he couldn't do anyting. I just told him to prepare the rest of his thesis while waiting from his SV. his sv actually think that July is still long time to go & he doesn't have to rush, huhuhuhu.

back to our shopping list. Syawal has his own list & me definitely has my own. I've started shopping my stuff since last december, started with the bedding thingy. The dinnerware (correlle & china) is complete I think. It's just that if I have xtra money, I might want to add another few bits & pieces. For the electrical appliances, I just found out there is actually a kenwood factoy outlet near portsmouth which is very good. How did I find out about the shop???? from the radio advert, Ocean FM. We went there last week, just to see what they offer. Well, the store is not that big but they have everything on my list. I didn't buy anything yet but Ina bought can opener for my sis's MIL which is much cheaper compared to the RRP. What I need to do now is just to find out what & which model I want. We'll definitely go back there again...sooner or later.

the other thing that I want to buy is the Queen Anne silver plated stuff. I always tried to find the best time to go there as I had an unpleasant experience when I went there for the 1st time.... terrible traffic jam. Then, went there for the 2nd time & thank God, not much trouble & bought some. Then I planned to buy QA as souvenirs for the relatives which means we have to go there again. We went there again last Dec & even booked a Travelodge but the shop was closed, huhuhuu. What a total waste!! Then I decided just to wait for Ina to come here so that we could go together. I know she'll definitely like it. This time, b4 going there I checked on the opening times on their website first. Since there was no sign of labour yet, so I decided to go there yesterday. On the way there, gave them a call just to make sure that they're open. Ina is definitely happy with the trip & me too, of course. We left the factory with a boot full of QA. On the way back, ina regret herself. She wished she could buy more. But I told her that it is very unlikely that I want to go there again, considering the long travel & they're only open on weekdays. But who knows, maybe I change my mind in the future as it's really a good bargain. We spent about £200 & we went back home with one boot packed and full of QA stuff. Totally worth the money. BTW, Ina already have quite some collection of QA & she noticed that the QA bought here in UK are much better compared to the QA in langkawi. I guess the langkawi's QA are the pirate one.... made in China, not made in England. So, if u're Q lover, make sure you go the QA factory at Wednesbury, West Midlands.

On the way back to soton, I asked syawal if we could make a quick stop at Bicester village & he said Ok, yeyyee. Ina always happy to go to any shopping places but abah suggested we just went home straight away. Yes, that is my abah. Whenever we go out anywhere, he can't wait to go back home ASAP. of course his suggestion was rejected, hehehhe. Anway, i did tell Ina the place is quite high end where everything is VERY expensive. We did enjoy our time there though & me even happier cos I got my 1st Le creuset stuff, even though just a kettle. well, for me a contemp kettle at just £15 is really a good bargain. those who know Le Creuset, you know how ridiculously expensive their stuff are. I also found the stainless steel pan with two short holders that I've been searching for so long but the price???? I have to hold my desire to buy them yet. But at least now I know where to get them. Maybe i'll get a good bargain in the future, InsyaAllah. Anyway, I don't know why but I really like to go to Bicester village even though the chances of me buying anything is very thin but I just love going there. I'll definitely drag syawal to go there again & I know he loves to go there too, mayba just for a cappuccino at Pret A Manger or Starbucks, hehhehe. I also aim to buy something there but at the moment I'll keep it to myself but already told syawal for his blessing. So far, no objection from him *yeyeyeyyeye*. Again, if the budget permits, heheheh.

Ok.. what else I want to buy. oh yes.. I've always dreaming of having a nursery for my kids but it's not really important. It depends if I have time to browse around looking for a good bargain.

I am so sleepy now & I think it's time to stop. But after this lengthy shopping mopping entry, i feel so energetic & happy. How I love shopping. If i have tonnes of money...........

New update: I just uploaded our pix at kenwoood factory outlet, today(300409)

April 15, 2009

They are here...

Yess...my family has arrived safely last early Monday morning. They landed at Stansted airport at the midnight and we of course went there to fetch them. Unlike when we fetched my SIL, where the airport was very quite but this time, it was much busier. We reached Soton back about 3.30am & I was really sleepy to look at what they brought, mostly the food that I ordered, hehhehe.

So after about 2 days here, I think they managed to adapt to everything quite well. Luckily, the weather is not that bad. Since I am not in labour yet we tried to go anywhere especialy to the carboot. Also, they've enjoyed their shopping spree. We went to gunwharf Quay on easter monday. And my, my,my... they shopped like they're going back to m'sia soon. I did remind them though... not to buy everything at one go as they'll be here for a long time & we'll definitely go there again. We only managed to go to 2 stores.. Nike & clarks, knowing my Abah, who always inpatient in everything. He couldn't spend longer time at one place. When we're at home, he keeps asking when/where to go out & once you go out, the next thing he ask, where to go next & b4 you even realize, he'll say let's go home. Yup... that is my abah, very restless man.

What else.... oh yes. I am officially sign off as the cook in the house. My Ina takes charges on the cooking, 100%. me just do the planning on what to cook next & then... everything is ready. how I love my mom's cooking. So far she cooked all my fav. The only thing that I do at home is cleaning & tidying up the house, all the time. Well, my family is well known on our messiness. With three xtra ppl in house, u can see mess everywhere. The least I could do is to tidy up w/out complaining. Luckily Ina & Anaqi understand me well, so they tried to minimise the mess and abah is trying his best in not making much mess. If not, you could see his stuff everywhere. he is actually the main contributor in making mess, hikhikhik. Luckily syawal understands my family in comparison with his family, we're like from 2 diff worlds. His family (especially my MIL) is a clean freak & my family, totally the opposite.

Syafique also having a big fun with them. He spends most of the time with his uncle aka my youngest brother, Aqi. Luckily, even at 18 yrs old, Agi is a bit childish so they can click easily.

Got to go now. Need to go back to sleep. it's really hard to blog lately... have to find the time to blog. yes.. I am very bz but happy *wink*.

April 10, 2009

Our last Spring..

yey.. spring is here, bye2 that terrible winter :). You can see flowers blossoming everywhere, like my blossoming heart, hehhehe. Why??? B'cos my family will be arriving in 2 days time, yeyyeye. Hope everything is OK.

Syafique is in holiday now & the weather is very lovely out there. Managed to go to cple of shirt gateaway just around soton but I am quite occupied with other stauff, hence no time to upload the pix. And also.... finally I reached Arundel, the place that I wanted to go for soooooooooo long.

Lovely Friday

I am not sure is it co-incidence or what but for the past few weeks, lots of good things happened to me on Friday, like this time and this time. And today is another lovely friday.

Anyway, I just came back from a chat cum coffee session with my friend, C. She already got her PhD and worked under the same SV with me b4. That is why we are quite close & I don't know, I found it's very easy to talk to her. She is really a nice chap. Well, I met her to get some tips for my final viva & indeed it was really great. This is not the 1st time I met her, seeking for advice. We had the same coffee session after I passed my transfer viva, which is about more than a year ago.

What I learnt while doing PhD is you have to share your misery/happiness with others. I am lucky b'cos I have great ppl around me that always willing to help me in everything. With that I feel better & be more motivated. However, sometimes not all people understand your condition when u're sharing ur feeling but with C, I can easily tell her anything. It feels so great when you're actually on the same page Of course I don't really like to talk about my PhD work to others as each PhD is unique. I prefer to share about the experience of doing it and not on my research.

I am so relieved after the meeting. Now I am happier, feel more positive & ready to face my viva. She answered all my worries b4. But of course I need to prepare for that day. One thing for sure, it's not that easy :). She is also kind enough to give me her final viva presentation for my reference plus some other stuff that she found very useful. She also gave this link that she used as a guidance for her viva:
http://www.geocities.com/andrewbroad/cs/cs710/viva.html. Thanks C, really appreciate it.

We also talked about our one and only SV, Pa*l. We agreed that we are very lucky having him as our supervisor. What make me even happier, C told me that pa*l always said complementary things about me, said I am a very easy student to work with. I guess so as from the beginning, I just follow what he asked me to do as I am not a bright student, huhuhuhu.

Have a good weekend everyone :). Mine?? We don't have any plan yet but I hope the weather will be great & we could make an adhoc plan since syawal is not working this weekend.

Happy Birthday Syawal pt.2

You must want to know what is the ending of the story of my previous entry, right?
Basically.. everything is back to normal :). I am not gonna write in detail but we did celebrate his b'day at pizza hut as planned :) & we really had fun. No drama whatsoever.

Let the pix tell the story..

**Reading his b'day card. He was really surprised**

**Time to open his presents. What are they??**

**2 Burberry neckties. He asked me when did I buy them & how much? I asked him to guess & he said £10 - £15. Whattt??? Come on abang, they're Burberry. I paid more than that dear. Anyway, after this no more burberry's or any other branded ties. We could buy from car boot only, hhuhuhu.

Anyway, syafique almost blew the surprise. Syawal's cousin asked him to buy the Man U necktie from ebay & it arrived a day b4 his b'day When syawal looked at the tie in front of syafique, syafique thought I already gave the present. Luckily, he realized it wasn't the same tie *phooh* & he kept quiet straight away**

**Pizza time @ Pizza Hut, West Quay**

**His birthday cake. One slice is enough for 3 of us**

**feeding cake session**

**Finally our cheesy bites pizza is here**

Quiet again...

The past 2wks the 260, Br*adland Rd was so lively with voices, laughter, ect, etc & today, it resumes to its normal quiet situation, just the three of us. Syawal's sister a.k.a my SIL came with her hubby for holiday. Thanks to Air Asia.. now everyone can fly.

Anyway, I think they had a great time here. The 2 wks stay is actually quite short to do everything in UK. We just brought them to mostly all of the interesting places close to Soton & they managed to make a short trip to paris too. We missed the Windsor castle though b'cos suddenly syawal got terrible back shoulder pain that day. And not forgetting, their shopping experince. I bet they'll find shopping is heaven here, hehehe. We share the cost of travelling + eating together & of course we're happy with that.

They went back early this morning & all of us sent them to the Stansted airport. And now, I am still tired of travelling there as we we woke up as early as 4.30am. The initial plan was, only syawal will take them to stansted. However, syawal experienced a very bad back pain yesterday. So I decided to follow them, afraid something happened to syawal on the way there. We arrived at the airport about 8am & it was just nice time for them to check-in. Luckily everything was OK except their hand luggage was overweight so they have to leave one luggage of dirty laundry here. This is my 1st time seeing they weigh the hand luggage. From my experiences b4, they only measure the size of the hand luggage but never weigh them. Now I know, the limit for hand luggage is 10kg & it's ok if you bring two hand luggage, provided the other one is just a small hand bag. We then left the airport about 9am.

Photobucket

I was really sleepy on my way to and from stansted. Luckily I was not the driver and the driver, Syawal was sleepy too. He took a short nap at the services when we're on our way back. Anyway, not to make our long journey to stansted a waste, I asked syawal if we could stop at popat store as I wanted to complete my Corelle collection. Furthermore, I just received my pay cheque yesterday. Thankfully, syawal agreed since it was still early & we didn't have to pay the congestion charge. besides, I knew he wanted to go the Chennai dosa. Both place were just opened when we arrived and about 11.30am we're already on our way back to soton & reached home about quarter past 1. Once we reached home, both of us jumped on the bed straight away & syafique enjoyed him playing computer.

We woke up about quarter to 4 & luckily we still have leftovers from yesterday. Had late lunch & suddenly I feel the house is very quiet. Luckily, this quietness won't be too long. In about 2 wks, it's gonna be lively again, yay. However... the thought of going to stansted airport again make us feel exhausted. It takes about 2 hrs from Soton to stansted in avery smooth traffic. We'll at least make another 4 trips go to/from there, huhuhuhu.

I am still tired though... not b'cos of the travelling but been bullied by my two boys. It doesn't make any difference at all whether I'm pregnant or not, I'm always their waitress, huhuhu. My mind is exhausted too. I feel like I have so many things to do in the next few days...aargghhh

@ 36 wks

This means the arrival of my little SA is just around the corner & I think I am ready now. I feel less scared compared to few days ago. Can't wait, can't wait... can't wait. The preparation almost 99% complete. I just need to set our tiny little bedroom into a 'so-called' nursery. The hospital bags for both of us are also ready. So, anything the sign shows we can fly to PAH. I just hope Syawal is around when the time comes.

I met the midwife yesterday, & Alhamdulillah, everything looks good. So far there's no complication in my pregnancy even though she said that my belly is not that huge. Thank God for that. My weight during my early pregnancy was 52kg & now, it's just 54kg which is good for me I think, ehhehehe. There was a sign of protein in my urine though. However the test showed normal rslt so nothing to be worried of, InsyaAllah. She also briefed us the delivery process. What we should know, what to bring, when to go to hospital, etc, etc. The only thing that make me & syawal worry is when is the right time to go to the hospital. Of course we don't want to give birth at home as I know how 'panic' it's gonna be. Syawal already told me he might not be with me inside the labour room. He prefers to stay outside. Of course I wish he could be with me all the time but knowing his experience with hospital, I am OK with that.

My dear little SA moves actively & really love to watch her tumbling around inside my belly. I think she kicks even stronger lately & can respond to our touch too. Like this afternoon, syawal was playing with her & it was really fun to see that. Anyway, I think Syawal interact more with little SA compared to when I was carrying Syafique. And I was like him too. I couldn't even remember did I play with syafique when he was still inside me. The only thing from my 1st pregnancy that still clear in my mind is the labour pain, eeeuughh, unbearable!!!!

BTW, Syawal's b'day is next week & who knows if little SA decides to share the same b'day with her Abah. I think it would be the best b'day present for him. Talking about present, I think there'll be no present from me(& syafique) this yr as I don't have to time to find him one BUT I already have plan in my mind on the celebration. A modest celebration, just the three of us :)
